Silk Kantha Cushion Cover With Tassels

This unique cushion cover has been handmade from upcycled vintage silk saris sourced from India. It has been finished with playful tassels on each corner. The fabric has been sewn together using a Kantha stitch, a traditional craft style from Bengal.  Group similar jewel-coloured pillows together to create a splash on any bed or sofa.

Please note the cushion insert is not included - the picture is taken with a standard 40 cm x 40 cm (16" x 16") pad.

Due to the vintage nature of the Kantha fabric used, there may be marks, pulls or patches in keeping with the age of the textiles.   This ensures that each piece is individual and full of character.  Prior to making into the finished article, all textiles have been gently cleaned.
